Khumra (or Humra) is a traditional, locally mixed Arabian and Northern Nigerian perfume characterized by its deep, warm, and dark fragrance. It is often a blend of aromatic powders, essential oils, sandalwood, and musk, heavily favored for its luxurious, long-lasting scent and traditionally used to scent the body and hair.
Ingredients
Typically formulated with a rich base of onycha (dufra), musk, sandalwood, cloves, cinnamon, mahlab, and rosewater.
How to Use
It is best applied directly to pulse points (like the wrists and behind the ears) to allow the warmth of the skin to diffuse the deep, smoky, and resinous notes.
